The Youth and Student Movement to End
the War on Drugs
Students for Sensible Drug Policy UK is a grassroots network of
students and young people dedicated to ending the War on Drugs.
We have chapters at universities, colleges and in communities all over
the United Kingdom.

SSDP chapters provide a voice for people
who want the drug laws and the way we talk about drugs in society to
change. They put on events at their educational institutions and in
their local communities to promote alternatives to the current system
and campaign on local, national and international issues in drug
policy.
We envisage a world in which people who use drugs are no longer
criminalised and that drugs are regulated in the best possible way to
protect society. If you believe that drug policy should be based on
compassion, reason,
evidence and human rights then join us. Whether you care about cannabis
legalisation, problematic drug use, drug classification, the violence
caused by the drugs trade, protecting young people or just want to end
drug prohibition there is a place for you in our movement!
Anyone can help get involved in SSDP regardless of whether you are a
student or young person. For students and young people to start a local
group click on the Getting Involved link to the left.
Whether you are an
artist, musician, graphic designer, fundraiser, video editor, web
designer, writer or just want to help us out! Drop us an email at
